This HikMicro Lynx 2.0 LH25 is a compact handheld thermal imaging camera which can easily be carried around in your coat pocket. It has easy-to-operate buttons on top of the housing and it has an IP67 waterproof rating, which means it’s completely dustproof. It also means it can be submerged down to a depth of one metre for 30 minutes. The thermal imaging camera has a detection range of no less than 1200 metres, which allows you to observe a sizeable area. It features a rechargeable lithium battery that’ll power the thermal imaging camera for roughly 6.5 hours. Using the standby mode effectively will allow it to last even longer.
The HikMicro Lynx 2.0 LH25 uses a 384x288p VOx sensor with a pixel pitch of 12 µm. It has a NETD of less than 20 Mk, which means the thermal imaging camera can detect and display even the smallest changes in temperature. This results in a crisp and highly-detailed thermal image, which allows you to easily observe, regardless of lighting circumstances. The thermal images are presented on a 1024x768p OLED-display with a refresh rate of 50Hz. That refresh rate provides a smooth image without flickering.
The thermal images can be shown in the following colour palettes:
• White hot
• Black hot
• Red hot
• Fusion
The HikMicro Lynx 2.0 LH25 thermal imaging camera has a field-of-view of 18.4 metres at a distance of 100 metres. It features a standard, optical magnification of 2.4x. Aside from that, it has a digital magnification of 1x, 2x, 4x and 8x, resulting in a maximum magnification of 19.2x. That magnification allows you to get nice and close to whatever it is that you’re observing.
While observing, you can use the thermal imaging camera to take pictures or record videos with audio. It has an internal storage capacity of 16 GB and you can even transfer the footage to your smartphone by using the HikMicro Sight app. Using the app, you can stream the feed from the thermal imaging camera directly to your smartphone, so you can use it as a second screen. This means at least two people can comfortably observe using the HikMicro Lynx 2.0 LH25 thermal imaging camera.
