This HikMicro Habrok HQ35LN thermal imaging camera is an innovatively designed tool shaped like traditional binoculars. It features both an optical module on the left side and a thermal module on the right side. The two lenses together result in a thermal imaging camera which is perfectly suited for a range of purposes. This thermal imaging camera has a durable housing that is made of magnesium alloy and it has a weight of only 780 grams, which allows you to bring it with you on long walks. The battery life of six hours, as well, allows you to bring the thermal imaging camera without hesitation. It’s powered by a replaceable and rechargeable Li-ion battery. It has an IP67 waterproof rating, which means it can be submerged down to a depth of one metre for a total of 30 minutes.

The optical sensor is located on the left side and it has a resolution of 2560x1440p. The objective has a diameter of 31 mm which has a decent light transmission. A magnification of 2.9-23x allows you to get nice and close to whatever it is you’re observing. The field of view of 24.4x13.6 metres ensureS you can keep a clear overview of the environment. Its thermal sensor is located on the right side of the HikMicro Habrok HQ35LN thermal imaging camera. That sensor has a resolution of 640x512p and a pixel pitch of 12 µm. The impressive NETD of 20 mK guarantees crisp thermal images that allow you to clearly distinguish details. The thermal sensor has a magnification of 3-24x and the objective has a diameter of 35 mm. It has a maximum range of 1800 metres and a field of view of 22x17.6 metres.

The HikMicro Habrok HQ35LN thermal imaging camera can be used for daytime observing, but it can also most definitely be used in the dark. It has an IR illuminator with a wavelength of 940 nm. That illuminator is located between the two lenses and you can manually adjust its angle. Everything is depicted clearly on the OLED-display which has a resolution of 1920x1080p and with the proper eye relief of 15 mm you’ll be able to observe properly. There’s an adjustment wheel on both lenses that allow you to adjust the focus. While observing, you’ll be able to choose between a number of different colour modes. For the optical sensor you can choose between day, night and automatic. The thermal sensor offers the choice between black hot, white hot, red hot and fusion.

Aside from observing your direct environment, you can use the HikMicro Habrok HQ35LN thermal imaging camera for a number of other things. It has a laser rangefinder which you can use to measure a distance with the click of a button. That rangefinder has a maximum range of 1000 metres. There are multiple buttons on top of the Habrok thermal imaging camera which can be used to operate the LRF. Additionally, you’ll have access to a menu that you can operate with those buttons and there’s even a photo-button on the thermal imaging camera. One press of the button allows you to take a picture of whatever it is you’re observing. By keeping the button pushed in, you can start or stop a video-recording. Everything is stored in the built-in memory of 64 GB.
